A letter from Neil Judd to Frank H. H. Roberts dated May 17, 1926.  This letter includes a response to Roberts’ question regarding mound trenches.  Judd also states in the letter that the Wetherill collections at the Field Museum were apparently mislabeled as being from Pueblo Bonito, but are actually from small house sites. [CDI Accession no. 000173] 3 pages. (0.2MB)

  • Judd, Neil M. – c. 1927– Pottery Notes: Pueblo Bonito 1925-1927. Chaco Archive No. C85939

Judd's handwritten notes and tabulations based on Roberts' ceramic study (1925-1927).  It includes distribution plans and frequency of San Juan and Mesa Verde sherds at Pueblo Bonito; [CDI Accession no. 000629] 13 pages.  (8.3MB)

  • Judd, Neil Merton and Anna O. Shepard 1935-1955 Judd-Shepard Correspondence. In Anna Osler Shepard Archival Collection, University of Colorado, Boulder, CO.

The letters dated Jan.7, 1954 (Accession00137) and Dec. 29, 1954 (CDI Accession 000138) are out of chronological order in this PDF file. The letter from Dec. 29 was the one sent with the copy of the book, and the one from Jan. 7 was the one acknowledging receipt of the book. It appears that Shepard, in responding to Judd, accidentally misdated her letter as being from 1954 instead of 1955 (the letter was apparently written right after the New Year and she was accustomed to writing the old date). [CDI Accession no. 001122] 40 pages (2.87MB)

  • Judd, Neil M. – 1920 - NGS Reconnaissance of Chaco Canyon 1920, Report.
