After developing and populating the inventory database we have begun
work over the last few months to develop the relational database that
will integrate the data contained within these inventory
objects. Phase two of the project (currently in development) will
synthesize data garnered from these institutions into a searchable,
query driven digital research archive. In addition to the query-driven
portion of the archive, we will continue to post early manuscripts,
photos, and field notes for viewing and, in some cases, download.
The completed Phase 2 version of the relational
database will be launched in 2009. However, prior to the launch we will
be releasing important data (such as the tree ring data and manuscripts
currently posted) as it becomes available – so please check back!
