Note: The ceramic counts presented in this table do not completely agree with those presented in Table 4.10 due to a number of errors in the ceramic data base. The counts presented here are believed to be more accurate.

* As the result of recent excavations, Dinetah Gray (A.D. 1550-1800) and Gobernador Polychrome (A.D. 1640-1765 or 1775) are known to have been produced substantially earlier in the Dinetah area of the northern San Juan Basin (see Dykeman et al 2003). This probably does not affect the date range of Dinetah in Chaco.
